I confess, I am a reluctant dog owner. But I also admit that for ten years the everyday routine of "walking the dog" has forced me to go out daily, to walk and explore, and to observe moments of beauty I would otherwise have missed (including many of the moments in my YS photos!) We usually walk in Pacific Spirit Park, a 2,000-acre forest right outside my door. Sadly, the reddish tinge to the light is from the smoke of distant fires, as BC suffers its worst ever forest fires this year.
