Travelling the North Coast 500 Route in Scotland has now become one of my yearly road trips. The route is amazing, spectacular, unique and there are not enough words to describe the landscape and inhabitants. This secluded and beautiful Redpoint beach in Gairloch is stunning. The history is amazing - Bronze Age, Iron Age, Vikings, Clearances, Nova Scotia. As is the geology - oldest recorded rocks in the world.
