Mornings and evenings, I often walk the trails of Pacific Spirit Park near my home. It always offers up some new detail - an unusual leaf, a colourful mushroom, a patch of sunlight, a feather... This walk was under a faint red wash of morning light, from the haze of forest fire smoke covering much of British Columbia this summer.
