Sunrise greets the morning in the Peruvian Rainforest along the Madre Dios River. The local cultures do not refer to the river by this Spanish name, instead, they refer to it as Amaru Mayu, the Snake River which is a living and spiritual being as it meanders like a snake until it eventually dumps into the Amazon river.
