    Edit Photo Details My Great Great Grandfather's Desk   #antiquefurniture #gorgeouscabinetwork #familytreasure #excellentquality
My great, great grandfather, who was an immigrant from England to the United States, made this desk around 1850, in the state of Virginia, in the USA. He wasn't a cabinet or furniture maker. He built it because he wanted to see if he could do it and did he ever do it. It's solid walnut and it's beautifully constructed and carved. The writing surface is covered with beautiful, well preserved leather. It's really a beautiful piece. It has been passed down to me and I am so proud to have it.
