Kolkata, formerly Calcutta, is one of the oldest city in India. It has seen many periods, from the time of British East India Company till today, the city is rich with its own history. The Bow Barracks, a quiet alley inside busy central Kolkata with colorful age old buildings, were built during world war I for soldiers. Later it was taken over by Anglo Indians. As seen in the photo, both these buildings and the hand pulled are indicators rich history and culture of this city.
