The air was perfectly cool, but the sand was plenty warm. Some kids were playing in the creek and we set about a long walk out to the ocean’s edge. We explored the crevices in the rocks that are otherwise covered by water when the tide rolls in. The waves toy with us and try to take us down as we enjoy the views of tiny crabs and barnacles. Pudding Creek runs under the bridge (MacKerricher State Park Road) and meets the ocean at the north end of Glass Beach.
