Vancouver Island was being hammered with torrential rain. The skipper of the boat told me that the rivers would be too full for bears and offered me my money back. This was a my bucketlist opportunity to see Grizzly bears enjoying the salmon run. I declined the refund and had one of the great experiences of my life.
