Invited To Dinner
Her name is Tsetsgee, one of only a few Shawwomen in Taiga. The first time I saw her, she was racing around the forest catching the reindeer as they were coming in for the day. We had just arrived on our white horses. She turned around when I was nearby and she smiled, playfully stuck her tongue out at me, giggled, and then ran off. We visited her home late one afternoon while her daughter and she were boiling sheep for dinner. They kindly invited us to join and we each tasted a small piece.
