Sitting among the ruins Balvaird Castle, near Glenfarg, Granddad was giving our grandson Hamish a history lesson. Or maybe it was Hamish giving Granddad a history lesson. Hamish loves old building, history and trying to understand how people lived. In this high tech world it is delightful to know that children's imagination can be stimulated by the past. These intimate moments are all part of growing into a mature rounded sociable adult when the wise help the young.
