August is the typical month of holidays, but the need of energy of the humanity does not stop even the starry nights of this month. The last weeks Ascó Nuclear Power Plant has reached the giant and symbolic number of 500.000 GWh since its start-up in 1984, producing the equivalent of two years of current energy consumption in Spain.
