I was taking a trip to the Lake District where we were stopping overnight in a hotel in Penrith. Little did I know that just outside the hotel was a woodland that was home to a family of red squirrels that the park ranger fed every morning. I got up extra early when there was no one around to scare off these beautiful creatures and I was not disappointed as they leaped from tree to tree and over a stream to get to the nuts that had been left out for them.
