Wild Wind
The wind has been harsh all day, with these low clouds moving across the mountain sporadically, blanketing the slopes. These grooves in the snow have been carved out by the winds, leaving a brilliant texture up the ridge-line.
From Your Shot photographer Rose Ungvari: "Wow, what an inspiring and surreal moment Adam. To capture such a powerful shot as this, during whiteout conditions, with the high winds is truly incredible. To ski in such conditions would be so scary to me, not knowing, not being able to see what is on the other side of the scene, to navigate through all of those sculpted snow drifts. The adrenaline courses through me just viewing your stunning image."
