After heavy rain, it is the best time to plant rice on the fields. As the rainwater is collected inside the field helps the soil to loosen up which in turn makes ploughing easy. The use of machinery such as tractors has increased dramatically in the past decade, manpower is used less and less. Although some process like planting the rice plants cannot be done with the help of machines, it requires humans. Monsoon is the perfect season to do that. I love to be in the fields during monsoon.
