I have been painting the outside of a house all summer. This really large spider has a web at the highest point of the roof. Accidentally knocked it off and it 's web was so strong I could lower it to the ground. Snapped photos and put it back on the roof. Within hours it was back in exactly the same place with a new web. Location, location, location I guess. Think it is Jewelled Orbweaver female. Never seen one before.
