Captured from kodumbu a small village in Palakkad district, Kerala. We were heading back from chinnar sanctuary, on the way we saw a pond with two,three 'Bronze winged Jacanas' on the roadside. We waited inside our car with the gear ready to make the click as there were chicks along side with the adults. After some minutes the adult jacana exposed its natural behavior by carrying all the young ones inside the wings as there were predators trying to hunt the young ones.
