Access to this location was extremely limited but it did provide a compelling insight into the scale of the channelised flow coming from the fissure 8 in the distance. However the fissure is not the hill you see. That is an old crater and I happen to have aligned the fissure 8 plume with the top of the hill to look like it is an erupting volcano for aesthetic reasons. The flow is coming around the back of the hill on the far right and flowing into the foreground to the ocean to the left.
