My two friends and I walked for a few hours to get to a mountain hut. The hut towered over a valley with a nearby river. We were in awe of the majestic mountains capped in snow. The sun toasted our skin as we watched the new day arrive. The clouds had rolled in during the night and moved through the valley. The mist evaporated as we drank our morning coffee.We found peace in the company of the elements. We felt blessed. The spaciousness of the land allowed us to reflect on happenings at home.
