The Staten Island Terminal in New York is a busy place. Thousands take the ferry and the morning traffic mainly consist of daily commuters. As I waited for my 8 am ferry, I found this young girl, enshrined in this beautiful summer light and an elderly gentleman both engrossed in their mobile phones. As the ferry came in behind them, the commuters got off the arriving boat to rush towards a bustling city. I had seconds to adjust my camera settings to get this flow against the static life.
