This Green Vine Snake (Ahaetulla nasuta) was photographed in Kudawa, Sinharaja rainforest in Sri Lanka. Sinharaja rain forest is a treasure trove of species. It is home to many endemics and critically endangered species. This summer I had the opportunity to explore Sinharaja and other Sri Lankan rainforests and as a result I learnt about much of the biodiversity in my country.
