On our last day in Samburu we were lucky enough to see a family of lionesses with their cubs right after a kill. After seeing them tearing apart a kill it was lovely to see such a contrast in their behaviour from being ferocious predators to these sweet loving mothers, taking time to clean the blood off of each cub before curling up together for a nap.
