    While hiking in Allegheny National Forest, we were following a cluster of Monarch butterflies when something buzzed by me, almost like a dive-bomb at my head! It was this Hummingbird Moth. I had never seen one before. Their wingspan measures just under 2". They hover like a hummingbird, and feed on flowers with their proboscis, but are actually a species of moth .
