Edit Photo Details Salkantay Pass Panoramic photograph
Panoramic photograph consisting of 22 vertical images together. It was a long ascent for 6 hours to the highest point of the Slakantay Pass, at 4,630 meters of altitude. The Salkantay trekking is famous for the beautiful scenery and the challenge of overcoming the difficulties of thin air, at least for those who are not acclimatized. In the picture we see one of our guides at the top of a rock, encouraging us to stand firm in the few remaining meters to the top.
