Suzzallo Library, UW, Seattle
Recently I visited the Suzzallo library in University of Washington,Seattle and was amazed with the architecture and design of the library.Named after Henry Suzzallo who had envisioned a library that was to be the soul of the university. The library was completed in 1926 and renamed to his name after his death in 1933.The Reading room features a vaulted ceiling with vibrantly colored and gilded details.Back then this room has been pronounced by experts to be the most beautiful on the continent.
