In early May of this year I was looking for opportunities to photograph barn swallows. They are known to nest beneath man-made structures so I checked the bridge tower at Shakespeare Park. I had a good afternoon of photographing swallows and was also able to capture a shot of this simple but beautiful structure in the late afternoon sun.
