Some plants become slowly spectacular, if given enough time. I had noticed some Clematis Drummondii climbing over a wall near our house. The flowers are quite lovely, but I especially love what happens when the flower morphs into the fuzzy tendrils. The strands on this specimen were quite long and smooth when collected. I waited almost one week for the fuzzy fruiting heads to resemble shiny hair. Do take a look at the link if you are interested: http://www.backyardnature.net/n/w/drumclem.htm
