Since I retired six years ago we were able to get the dogs we wanted as part of our family. I have the time to devote to them and although this depiction is an "everyday moment" of us about to embark on one of our daily walks, these adventures are anything but commonplace. Every dog owner will know what I mean. Their antics make us laugh and smile and we meet new people as well as old friends. We also get thrown a curve ball now and again when our hounds do something they shouldn't !
