Snakes contribute to fifty percent of the human-animal conflicts in India. But it is these animals that keeps a check on rats, rodents etc thus maintaining a balance of life on the planet. This is a spectacle cobra found hanging from a tree to the compound of my apartment! Snake handlers were immediately called and it was professionally handled to leave in the near by forest lands!
