Edit Photo Details Rock thin section   #plagioclase #thin_section #rock_sample
I am a student of geology, we have these beautiful thin sections of rock minerals in our college, looking these think section through microscope was lot of fun because of there different colours and mineral arrangements. This particular thin section is of plagioclase mineral, the colours are due to the inclusion of Quartz wedge between the eyepiece and objective lens of microscope.
