This waterfall traces a converted railroad grade from the town of Ansted, WV, located near Hawks Nest State Park. The rail trail follows along Westlake Creek, then comes to an impressive falls where Westlake Creek tumbles into Mill Creek. These join a notable curved trestle with a view of multiple cascades where Westlake Creek and Mill Creek merge, then continue down Mill Creek to reach 20-foot Mill Creek Falls, a vertical drop that is the largest of the many spillers along this rail trail.
