Edit Photo Details Waiting for the Sun   #dew #macro #dragonfly #michigan
There are many types of dragonfly in northern Michigan. They all face the same challenge - how to dry their wings of the night's dew so they can fly for another day. Before the dew has dried, in the early morning light, they can look like diamond-encrusted works of art Before the sun has dried their wings is an optimum time to use focus stacking techniques (as I did for this shot).
