I was snorkelling through the weeds and photographing Pumpkinseeds and other fish near the shore when I noticed some movement on the surface just in front of me. I poked my head out of the water and saw this trumpeter swan looking down at me just a few feet away. The swan did not attack, nor did it feel threatened by my presence, it merely observed as I floated in silence and took in the moment. Eventually we quietly parted ways.
