My 4 year old daughter and I were driving the Blueridge Parkway and she asked me what was “down there” as we drive over the bridge heading to the Viaduct. I turned our truck around and parked where there was a small pull off. We took the trail down to Simms creek and she said “wow, that bridge is tall daddy”. She asked me many questions about it how it was built and who built it and why they built it. So, I asked her who she thought built it. She replied, “I don’t know but, someone did”
