The Wildwood Lake Park, near Harrisburg, PA has a 5-mile trail, encircling the wetlands. Upon my last visit and pretty soon into the trail, I encountered this lovely green heron. After snapping a few shots, I decided to walk a bit further, but quickly opted to, rather than spending the day walking, set up shop next to the first (and prettier) heron I had seen. I must have watched this fellow catch 100 minnows. The fun finally ended when a nearby crow shrieked and the heron dashed for cover.
