These two children were two locals and were both timid at first, however, over the few days that we were in the village we became close with them. The girl was confident in English, however, the boy was only fluent in the local Malay language. They were excited and happy when we were there and loved to play chase and loved to be thrown up in the air. We sat with them and taught them some of our indigenous Maori language from New Zealand. I would love to go back and find them again.
