Edit Photo Details Yellowstone Bison In Early Fall Snow   #nature #wildlife #animals #yellowstone #bison
Last weekend while camping and hiking in the backcountry of Yellowstone National Park I came across this loan bison as it grazes through Lamar Valley early one morning after Yellowstone received its first dusting of snow in early October. Anytime I come across a loan bison I'm always curious as to why? Is it a loaner looking for peace and solace or was it separated from the herd? An animal's instincts are curious and always give me pause to ponder.
