This summer I went with my family to Jasper National Park, one of my favorite place to visit in Alberta Rocky mountains! As soon as we entered in Jasper we started seeing wild animals! This Elk was the first one we saw! It wasn't exactly beside the highway. So I had to get off the car with my camera and ignoring the warning of my family I walked a little along a narrow walkway to take this shot. I heard Elks are not as aggressive as the moose. I took a chance to capture it from a close proximity!
