Young orang utan with a touchingly pensive look - maybe missing its parents? In the Malay language, 'orang utan' translates as 'man of the jungle'. This was taken at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre in Sabah, Malaysia. The center is a orangutan rehabilitation project for rescued orphaned baby orangutans from logging sites, plantations, illegal hunting or kept as pets. Sadly, Orang utans are becoming endangered due to habitat destruction.
