A Statue of Raja Porus. Porus fought Alaxander the Great in subcontinent in 327. Raja Porus was an ancient Indain king from Punjab region, whose territory spanned the region between the Hydaspes; thougt to be fought at the site of modern-day Mong, Punjab, which is now part of the modern country of Pakistan (River of Jhelum) and Acesines (Chanab River) in the Punjab region of the Indian subcontinent.
