Walking through the alleys of the suburbs of Amsterdam, looking for a story to tell, I came across a dusty window from which I could glimpse a busy figure. I approached the building, the door was ajar, I opened it and entered. I saw a man who polished a violin and I immediately understood that he was a craftsman, specifically a violin maker. A refined lutist who was finishing his creation. I started talking with him and when he was at ease, I proceeded to take his portrait.
