Determined to see the ibex I'd spotted the day before, but having little success, I sat in the hot sun for several hours observing a group of mountain goats and the eventually this chap let curiosity get the better of him, steadily drawing closer. I stayed as still as I could, hand on my camera and tripod. Paying little heed to me he seemed enthralled by my camera, staring at it for several seconds before licking the lens, deciding it wasn't for him and returning to the rest of his group.
