At home from school, during the ephemeral summer of Golden Mountains, children and teens don't have time to play, they must help parents in the daily life work. They keep an eye on the only wealth they have: livestock. The Kazakh nomads lead a life of constant movement. They migrating to look for pasturage as the seasons change.A hard life with many discomforts and dangers often due to nature and its whims. Nevertheless, nomads prefer this way of life to a sedentary lifestyle.

I love Your Shot photographer Shannon Hunt's comment: "This image is stunning Alessandra! You have created a portrait that really tells the story of the Kazakh Nomads and your caption is very informative making this image even stronger. The livestock you have included in the background of your photo make this image come alive for me and the way you framed the child in the foreground with such striking features drew me into the image even more. It is a really lovely portrait."
