The festival of Dasara is celebrated with great enthusiasm in India and specifically in the city of Mysore, it is a cultural extravaganza. The city is well lit for 10 days and is tourist laden. I was roaming around the city to capture the cultural heritage when I encountered this teenager. I am not sure if he is aware of mythology, but at that moment I felt he is the one who completely understood the essence of the festival : To win over his own evils.
