Know to be one of the wettest places in the UK, it is rare for the Lake District to get sun. When there is a chance of sunshine it is best to make the most of it. There was a fortuitous break in the clouds one evening during a bbq by the lake. It was a frantic moment to gain enough height to capture the photo in time. I feel it captured the essence of the evening - serene, warm and good friends for company.
