The landscape of Cappadocia in Turkey as about as other worldly as I've come across. Fairy chimneys stand tall, speckled with pigeon houses that only add to their alien-made appearance. As tourism in the area booms, the towns grow and sadly, so too does the light pollution. Here the Milky Way is seen rising and arching over the glow of goreme, but for how much longer can it escape it?
