A juvenile Komodo Dragon enjoys a nice carved pumpkin snack at Woodland Park Zoo's "Pumpkin Bash" in Seattle, an event in celebration of Halloween. Every year, pumpkins are carved and given to the animals at the zoo. For those who wouldn't eat the pumpkins, like this Komodo, they're lined and filled with treats specialized for each animal. While the Komodo Dragon was mostly uninterested in the pumpkin, I managed to capture the instant he became curious, and popped his snout in for a sample.
