    Some nights will forever be etched vividly into my memory and this is certainly one of them. With abnormally hot and consistent weather this summer in the UK, bioluminescent plankton numbers were much higher than normal, to the point where sightings were becoming the norm for those who knew where to look. During this night, Mars was close to opposition, shining the brightest it would that year, but I felt like I could have easily been on another planet, looking back at Earth.
