    Edit Photo Details Wasp Moth masquerading as a Bumble Bee   #india #insect #nilgiris #western_ghats #wasp_moth #bumble_bee_facade
It's the leaf that beguiled me with its multi-colored personality. Seeing a wasp moth, resting on this leaf was just a delightful happenstance. I thought maybe, it is an endemic species of a Bumble bee. But, turns out it's an Indian Wasp Moth, scientifically also known as 'Amata passalis'. This was shot in the Western Ghats (Nilgiris), India.
