These two young women were photographed at a very high mountain pass next to Karoula Glacier. The altitude was just over 5,000 metres and it was very taxing to move at all due to the thin air. These two, whose names are Samten Wangmu and Tashi Ihamu, made a modest living charging to be photographed. I was very happy to contribute.
