Winter sets in by the 2nd week of Oct. Snow caps start showing up on the top of the mountains and winter wear (Phiran) starts showing up in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. The floating vegetable market is the only one across India and the wholesalers reach here every morning to finalize the deals for the day. It's awesome to watch them all come in by 6 am and disappear by 7:30
